What Is Home? A Visualization Workshop
Join artist Meegan Lim for What is Home?, a free community workshop exploring the meaning of home through art and storytelling. Together, we’ll reflect on personal memories, belongings, and symbols of care, then use illustration and collage to create meaningful artwork. No art experience is needed, just a willingness to reflect and share.
Your creative piece will become part of The Light We Share, a glowing public art installation for the 2026 Coldest Night of the Year event in Downtown Brampton. As part of this citywide initiative to raise awareness around homelessness and housing insecurity, this workshop invites participants to express solidarity and compassion through visual storytelling.
This workshop is open to the public (ages 13+). All materials will be provided, and light refreshments will be available.
Let’s come together, share stories, and shine a collective light of care, memory, and belonging.
