Leeds Foraging Group is for people in the Leeds area interested in meeting up to forage and process wild foods.
This is the first indoor meet up.
We'll be meeting in St Margaret's Room attached to St Peter's church, in Bramley. It is a community space with it's own entrance, accessible access and toilets, a new stainless steel catering kitchen, lots of space for prepping wild food at tables, large floor space for ground level processing and a cosy sofa area for hanging out, all in one space.
This will be an informal, unled meet up, hosted by Gini and Grace. No agenda other than to get together, get to know liked minded people and maybe do the thing you've been putting off doing.
Ideal for those who know what they are doing and how to do it when it comes to prepping foraged food and just need some body doubling/accountability to actually make the rosehip syrup! (me - Grace!)
The ticket price covers the room hire which includes use of the oven, industrial sinks, utensils and teas/coffee.
If this is something people are keen on doing regularly we can hire the room out monthly.
We also have ideas of doing foraging and prep workshops based in this space for those who would appreciate a guided session with leaders who have experience and can give guidance and tips. These sessions would be priced at workshops rates.
We look forward to meeting you all and enjoying nature's wild abundance.
