Riverfly Training

Get ready to become a River Guardian and help protect our local waterways by learning how to monitor river health and water quality. Join Mersey Rivers Trust for a hands-on Riverfly and River Guardian training session on Wednesday, 19 February at 10:00 AM, held at Brookdale Club & Theatre Ltd.

This practical training will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to monitor rivers, identify pollution, and understand the importance of water conservation. You’ll learn how to carry out river monitoring, report issues, and play an active role in safeguarding our environment.

Beginners are very welcome, this is a great opportunity to connect with nature, meet like-minded people, and make a real difference to our local rivers. The morning session will be inside, and the afternoon session will be practical outside.
