Washington Street reconstruction begins this spring and is scheduled to wrap up in 2027. We know this will be challenging for many businesses located on and off the main route, but it will result in a more attractive, welcoming corridor for future customers and visitors.
The Chamber, BLAEDC and the City of Brainerd want to make sure you’re prepared and receive the support and information you need to manage the disruption. For your convenience, we are hosting two identical business sessions with MNDOT. Please choose one that best fits your schedule.
WHAT WE WILL COVER
• MNDOT will share the schedule, detour routes and expected impacts.
• We will brainstorm ideas for marketing, public information and business support.
• Q&A with project managers.
Construction is expected to start on the east side of Brainerd and move west. These are the first of several meetings we plan to host this year. Hope to see you there!
