Welcome to theCommons—Grab a beer, grab a seat. theCommons is a live storytelling event hosted at Jack Pine Brewery. Whether you’ve got a story to share or just want to sit back and hear something heartfelt, hilarious, or just plain human, you’re in the right place.
How It Works
Put your name in the hat when you're ready to tell your story.
If your name gets drawn, you get 5–7 minutes to tell your story.
(We’ll give you a 2-minute warning.)
A note card is okay, reading your story is not.
Keep it clean, read the room, and be respectful.
Extra applause if your story follows the theme.
Make it true—or at least truth-inspired. Just don’t tell someone else’s story.
