Ice Dyeing with Karen DeVries

Local fiber artist, Karen DeVries, is back at The Crossing Arts to teach another exciting fabric-dyeing technique: ice-dyeing! In this three-hour class, Karen will lead students in dyeing three cotton dish towels using ice and powdered dyes. As the ice melts overnight, the dye will dissolve into the water to create beautiful, unpredictable patterns in your finished fabric! Finished pieces can be picked up at Crossing Arts on Saturday, November 1st.

What to bring:

Apron or clothes you don't mind getting dye on
Gloves (Size medium medical gloves will be available at Crossing Arts)
A mask for safety when working with powdered dyes.
$40 for Crossing Arts Members

$45 for non-Members

This course is beginner-friendly, ages 12+.
