Festival of the Dead - Join the Workshops!

The University of Bradford, in collaboration with , and , is hosting Bradford’s first ever Festival of the Dead and we are inviting you to take part!

Held over five weeks, join the Festival of the Dead workshops – a safe and open space to talk about death and reflect on how we remember, honour, and celebrate those who have gone before us. Together, we’ll explore:

• How death is commemorated through time and around the world
• Traditions and customs within your own culture
• Creative ways of remembering and celebrating life

During the workshops, you’ll also create your own paper lantern, which will become part of the Festival of the Dead Parade on the 16th November.

• Workshops’ location: City Library, Carnegie room, Centenary Square, BD1 1SD
• Every Wednesday: 8 October to 5 November (5 workshops)
• Time: 4:45pm to 6:45pm
