DIVIDED SELF: Celebrating the life of Wild Willi Beckett

Join us as we launch our project on Bradford poet, performer and Loony “Wild” Willi Beckett. Our launch gig at The 1in12 will showcase performers who played there when Willi led the club and new faces coming through the scene today. Willi spent years of his life devoted to the arts in Bradford through The Bradford Festival and The 1in12, so when best to celebrate his legacy than during Bradford’s time as City of Culture?!

This event is part of Heritage Open Days (a change from the usual country garden walks!) and has been supported by Bradford 2025 through their Heritage Skills Programme. We’re keeping it radical as per!
