Under One Roof Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony & Open House

Manatee County Government is hosting a ribbon cutting and Open House to celebrate the grand opening of Under One Roof Gateway South, a new shelter and recovery center dedicated to helping women overcome addiction, homelessness and trauma—by providing a safe, healing environment and critical supportive services in one location.

The Under One Roof Gateway South Shelter, which will be staffed and programmed through Helping Up Mission (HUM), will complement other regional partners, such as Turning Points, Centerstone, the Salvation Army and Fresh Start Manatee, helping to build a coordinated, compassionate continuum of care in Manatee County. The project was funded in part by opioid settlement dollars and HUD’s HOME-ARP Program.

Guests will have the opportunity to tour the facility and speak with County officials and service providers.
