Steve Arvey a Chicago native with deep roots in the city’s blues scene has built an international career blending traditional blues with modern Americana. After early collaborations with legends like Bo Diddley Jr. Wells and Hubert Sumlin Arvey formed his own band West Side Heat and toured extensively. Known for his raw innovative sound—especially with his group The Delta Swamp Rats and their “Mississippi Delta Funk” style—Steve has performed at major festivals worldwide including Australia’s renowned Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival earning acclaim for his soulful high-energy performances.
