Art in the Park

Join us for peaceful and inspiring mornings, where creativity meets the calm of nature. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just looking to unwind, we’ll have everything you need to get your imagination flowing — adult coloring books, sketch pads, coloring pencils, chalk pastels, pastel paper, blank cards, stickers, and more — all free to use!

Let the sights, sounds, and textures guide your art. Art in the Park is designed especially for adults seeking a mindful moment, but families are always welcome! No experience necessary — just bring your curiosity and enjoy some creative time in the preserve.

On September 7th & October 5th we will have a special two-hour watercolor class led by talented local artist and instructor Keegan Baker. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced painter, you’ll enjoy creating your own masterpiece surrounded by the beauty of Heartwood Preserve. All materials are provided—just bring your creativity!
