Expressive Pumkpins

In this workshop we will step away from realism and focus on an artist ability use of color to represent emotion and explore a variety of brushstrokes to evoke a sense of. movement in our artwork.

Although representing an image in a realistic fashion is both beautiful and impressive, I find it is more challening and inspiring to include color and movement to inpsire others.

Artist will study the markings and textures brought about by using a variety of tools, brushes, and painting techniques to include these in their painting of a pumpkin. Focusing on the elements of COLOR and TEXTURE and the principle of MOVEMENT and COMPOSITION will transform a seemingly simply object into a striking one of a kind creation.
