We’re excited to invite you to our city’s upcoming 8th annual Salute to Ellsworth event (formerly Patriot Day). For 83 years, Ellsworth Air Force Base has been an integral part of the Box Elder community. Each September, the community and the Air Force come together to celebrate that bond and show our appreciation for the men and women of Ellsworth! - Bring your lawn chairs!

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Wings and Wheels Car Show – at the SD Air and Space Museum
3:00 PM: Parade
4:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Main Event at City Hall (ENJOY live music from “10 Miles From Nowhere”, food trucks, vendors, FREE activities for all ages, Cops n Bobbers, and so much more!)
4:30 PM: JROTC Color Guard & National Anthem Singer (Stage)
7:15 PM: Pre-fireworks Glow Dance Party (Next to Stage)
8:00 PM: Fireworks Show
