Country music standout Easton Corbin will take the stage at Swamp Buck Acres in Bowman, South Carolina, on Friday, September 26. Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 25 at 10 a.m. through SwampBuckAcres.com and Freshtix.com.
Celebrated for his warm baritone voice and timeless blend of traditional and contemporary country sounds, Corbin has built a decade-long career rooted in authenticity and heartfelt storytelling. His latest album, Let’s Do Country Right, continues that legacy with a mix of new tracks and fan favorites.
Best known for No. 1 singles like “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It,” Corbin’s recent work includes the upbeat “I Can’t Decide” (dubbed a “fun number” by Billboard), the romantic “Marry That Girl” (called a “love anthem” by People), and the newest title track, “Lonesome Drinkers,” which also headlines his upcoming tour.
Working alongside longtime producer Carson Chamberlain and songwriters including Wade Kirby, Shane Minor, Adam Craig, and Wyatt McCubbin, Corbin says his recent focus has been on crafting music with a clear, authentic message. “It’s about being authentic, and that’s what I always focus on when I write or record,” he explains. “I keep one foot in traditional and one foot in the modern and marry those two.”
Since his breakout in 2010 — when he was named Billboard’s Top New Country Artist — Corbin has racked up seven Top 10 singles and three American Country Awards. His debut album was named iTunes Rewind Best of 2010 Country Breakthrough Album of the Year, and critics continue to praise his sound, with Your Big Sky calling it “unapologetic and unwavering traditional country,” and American Songwriter lauding his “warm, smooth-as-gravy southern drawl.”
Corbin’s appreciation for the roots of country runs deep — shaped early on by listening to Merle Haggard and George Jones with his grandparents. “I do love traditional country music,” he says. “The way Merle Haggard delivered a song, the emotion in his songwriting and in his voice — he was the whole package.”
His 14-track album Let’s Do Country Right reflects that passion, including previously released tracks like “Marry That Girl”, which has surpassed 60 million streams and was featured on FOX’s Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer, The Kelly Clarkson Show, and The Bobby Bones Show.
