Much loved Meanjin quartet The Double Happiness return to The Old Museum to launch their new album, SPACETIME.
The third long player from the band, launches the crew into a bold new frontier of sound. Inspired by an eclectic mix of 1960’s tv & films, unusual journeys and quirky encounters, SPACETIME delivers a very familiar sense of nostalgia, combined with new dimensions to songwriting and arrangements.
SPACETIME will be available on streaming services from September 12. The launch show is at The Old Museum on Saturday September 20, with our friends in reverb and local legends, Keep On Dancins.
The limited edition vinyl, designed and screen printed by Matt Deasy at No.7 Print House, will be available for the first time at the launch.
Brisbane’s Keep on Dancin's bring their self proclaimed sad-core to the Old Museum, casting a lush, melancholic glow in support of local legends The Double Happiness.
Slowly limping into middle age, Dancos have never sounded sadder, and they now have new songs to prove it! Don’t miss this unforgettable night of shimmering soundscapes.
