Joshua Hatcher Quartet

Co-hosted by Brisbane International Jazz Festival

Fine-tuning their sound for the past year, these four musicians explore how to make the music swing even when it's not swinging. The band's repertoire focusses on original jazz compositions by Hatcher that draw heavily on the guitarisms of Julian Lage, John Scofield and Bill Frisell. Especially for this performance, some new material will be premiered to celebrate the 2025 Brisbane International Jazz Festival.
