JP CMT Course

This course is ran in increments of 8 Students. 9 or more Students requires a 2nd purchase to keep it in incumbents of 8 per the contract.



This course meets the training requirements for the USAF for the Pararescueman to remain deployable. It includes Down Aircraft, Close Quarters Battle / Hostage Rescue, MASCAL Exercise, IED Blast Extrication, Confined Space, Ropes, Aircraft Infill and Exfill, and Subterranean Scenarios. The Didactic Curriculum mirrors the PJ Handbook to include the science and why they do the skills. The curriculum also covers Prolonged Field Care Considerations to give at a minimum 63 CEUs towards Paramedic. Current Cours is approved by AFSOC and attended via contract as a 5 day course.



We can run it as a custom course and modify the training and number of days.



Base Course:

•Current concepts in TCCC: Review and Updates

•Human anatomy review: Incorporates cadaveric dissection review utilizing medical school quality specimens. This review will include the anatomy of the chest and lung, abdominal organs, and vasculature of the abdomen, pelvis, groin and proximal upper/lower extremity.

•Patient assessments.

•Advanced/difficult airway management.

•Patient triage.

•Mass casualty management.

•Mass casualty scenarios.

•Blunt trauma scenarios.

•Blast trauma scenarios.

•Traumatic Brain Injury

•Casualty Collection Point management

Course shall integrate currency requirements for advanced medical care and protocols as outlined in the Pararescue Medical Operations Handbook, to include:

•Prolonged care for patients. Cric, ET, Vents, Pharm, Hypothermia Management, Blood, Packaging,

•Burn trauma management.

•Crush Injury management.

•Extended/Critical care considerations.

•Tactical rescue scenarios.

•Surgical field procedures

Incorporate (6) high-quality training scenarios, utilizing a mixture of high-fidelity manikins, role players, and cadavers (in-scenario), shall be performed during the training week. Scenarios during the week shall include at a minimum (combinations of the below are allowable to incorporate and reinforce all the content of the course):



•Neutralization of opposing forces using Simmunitions during medical scenario

•Downed Aircraft extrication of patient.

•Mass casualty

•Patient treatment involving prolonged field care

•Hostage Rescue (HR)

•Direct Action (DA)

•IOs,

•Lateral Canthotomy

•Endotracheal intubation and SGAs

•Surgical Airway

•ND, Finger Thoracotomy, Chest Tubes

•Suprapubic Aspiration

•Hemorrhage Control, Wound Packing Junctional,

•Fasciotomy/Escharotomy

•Wound Care

•Suture

•C-spine clearance

•Splinting: Pelvic; Humerus; Forearm and hand; Knee immobilizer; Foot and ankle.
