The New Horizons: "Hailing from Santa Cruz, California, The New Horizons are a rock power group shredding since 2017. With influences such as Santana, Tame Impala, Bob Marley, Van Halen, AC/DC, The Beatles, and many more, The New Horizons bring a blend of styles to the stage. Their lineup consists of Jacob Bayani (lead guitar and vocals) of Quinn Becker and the Spacemen, Jimmy Palafox (drums) of Santa Cruz Latin Collective, Aidan Santa Cruz( Keys) of Sonic Architect and Quinn Becker (bass, guitar, and vocals) of Moonshine Crossroads. They're excited to bring you a Rock ‘n’ Roll filled night of originals and covers.
Northern Disconnection: San Lorenzo Valley’s Quinn Becker (Quinn Becker & The Spacemen, Jacks & Dogs, Moonshine Crossroads) and, the San Francisco Bay Area’s Evan Pellkofer and Natan Eichert bring Northern Disconnection to Joe’s Bar for the first time on New Years Eve. The creative forces behind Northern Disconnection take inspiration from the coastal forests of their Northern California home, and strive to transport their audience away from the stress of always-online modern life for a few hours each show. The band's sonic melting pot incorporates sounds from psychedelic rock, folk, blues, and jazz. Northern Disconnection's sets feature original songs as well as their own take on the music of various influences and inspirations, including the Eric Clapton. The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Chuck Prophet, CSN&Y, Steeley Dan and more
