Main Street Elizabethton invites you to participate in the 5th annual Firefly 5K Run/Walk on Friday, September 19, at 7 PM in Edwards Island Park in conjunction with Covered Bridge Days. This year we are celebrating with a NEW season, NEW time, & NEW location!
Run or walk throughout Downtown Elizabethton, the Elizabethton Linear Trail, and Tweetsie Trail during Covered Bridge Days to support downtown revitalization. The race starts and ends in Edwards Island Park with 2
Proceeds support Main Street Elizabethton in the organization’s transformational strategies to grow downtown into a vibrant shopping, dining, and entertainment district, as well as elevate the natural resources to become a family-friendly mountain recreation hub. Main Street Elizabethton’s mission is to look toward the future to preserve our culture and heritage while striving to revitalize the heart of our downtown. Early Bird Registration is $30 for adults and $20 for youth until September 1st. T-shirts and medals are guaranteed for the first 400 participants! The price will increase by $5 starting September 2.
The Firefly 5K is a pet-friendly walk/run. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome. Strollers and headphones are also permitted throughout the course. All are invited to participate!
