Jiaorui Jiang, Principal UX Researcher at Dell Technologies, will share insights on how to redefine and own your UX career. When the job market gets tough, it's easy to spiral into self-doubt and question everything you bring to the table. Her talk, From Table Stakes to Game Changer: Redefining Your Value in Your Story?, is designed to flip that mindset on its head. You'll learn practical storytelling techniques to craft compelling narratives that showcase why your non-traditional path or diverse background is actually your superpower. Instead of apologizing for what you lack, you'll confidently articulate what you uniquely offer.

Clare Cady, Founder of CLC Strategies, will share her knowledge and experience in UX for Social Impact: Lessons Learned from Tackling Food Insecurity, Poverty, and More. Creating technology that addresses social issues like food insecurity, homelessness, and poverty presents unique challenges and opportunities for UX professionals. This session focuses on key lessons learned from real-world projects that have directly impacted vulnerable populations. Through real examples—including the benefits access, food supports, emergency aid apps, and tools addressing social determinants of health—attendees will learn about important principles for researching and designing technology that changes lives.
