“Yoruba Idealism”
with Prof. Yemi D. Ogunyemi

Idealism in Yoruba country and for the Yoruba people equates with the ideal purpose of life. It is the search for the meaning of life and the yearning for the best in life.

• Prof. Yemi D. Ogunyemi is a former research fellow, Harvard University, former Director, Institute of Creative Writing, Author of Yoruba Idealism, Yoruba Philosophy and the Seeds of Enlightenment, The Oral Traditions in Ile-Ife, The Aesthetic and Moral Art of Wole Soyinka, Literatures of the African Diaspora, How to Erase Racism from the Minds of Humanity, and a good few, online Prof at BIU and American Trinity University, Yemi D. Ogunyemi is a beaut aphorist and a luminous literary philosopher whose work reflects the savvies and radiance of his spirit and always fascinated by letters, books and the power of words. He is the winner of a Poetry Golden Trophy, winner of the Writers' Room of Boston Nonfiction Award, and the recipient of Massachusetts Humanity Grant in 2023. His canon of over 70 titles includes fiction, nonfiction, plays, poetry and the children's literature. He is currently working on The Study of Yoruba Classic Fairy-tales/Folklore and Literary Criticism.
