Sake Pairing Masterclass to Benefit the Blackstone School

Enjoy a sake pairing masterclass featuring Chris Johnson "The Sake Ninja" and cheeses from Formaggio Kitchen. This multi-course event will highlight distinct varieties of sake and each will be expertly paired with cheese and/or accompaniments from Formaggio Kitchen.

A portion of proceeds from this event will be donated to Friends of the Blackstone, a 501c3 organization whose mission is to support the the Blackstone Elementary School at 380 Shawmut Avenue in Boston's South End. The Blackstone Elementary School is a Boston Public School in the South End neighborhood serving nearly 600 diverse students from Pre-Kindergarten to 6th grade. Children attend the school from neighborhoods throughout Boston, including the South End, East Boston, Roxbury and Dorchester neighborhoods. Two out of three students speak a language other than English as their first language, and 3 out of 4 children qualify for the free lunch program.
