Brendan Hughes is the writer, creator and host of the hit iHeartRadio podcast Divine Intervention, the story of a ragtag band of nuns in combat boots and wild-haired priests becoming accomplished cat burglars in order to sabotage the Vietnam draft, trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover and falling in love with one another. He'll be speaking about this under-reported period in Boston's history, about his own family's connection to the story and about the process of bringing this story to life.
• Brendan Patrick Hughes is a filmmaker, podcast producer, performance artist, and professor who works in feature film, documentary, podcasts, theater and comedy pop-ups. He currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Acting for Film and Media at Sands College of Performing Arts at Pace University in New York City. Other recent projects include the darkly comic mystery feature film "Dindin," available on Apple TV and Amazon Prime, and the documentary The Metal Detector, now streaming on PBS.
