Bully Boy Distillery Tour

Join Boston Event Guide for an exclusive evening at an exclusive behind the scenes tour and evening at Bully Boy Distillers' on Thursday, September 18 in Boston. With two intimate tour times offered at 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM, you'll enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at how Bully Boy’s award-winning spirits are made - from start to finish. We recommend arriving at 5:00 PM for the first tour and 6:30 PM for the second so you can settle in and start sipping early.

Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and takes you on a guided walk through Boston’s first licensed distillery since the end of Prohibition. You’ll learn about the company’s deep roots in Boston’s bootlegging history, how the brand was inspired by Prohibition-era traditions, and how Bully Boy handcrafts all of its spirits in-house. It’s an authentic and educational look into the local craft scene.

Your ticket includes a complimentary spirits sampling and a Bully Boy Glencairn glass to take home. You’ll start the tour with your choice of one of three unique Amari (aperitifs), followed by tastings of white rum, aged rum, white lightning (moonshine), and cask-strength bourbon - poured straight from the barrel. At the end of the tour, there’s also the opportunity to sample any other Bully Boy spirits that caught your eye - they make over 15 different products!

Before or after your tour, relax in the cozy lounge with a drink in hand and enjoy a few rounds of pinball. A full cocktail bar will be open starting at 5:00 PM, offering a menu of expertly mixed drinks made with Bully Boy’s house-made spirits. We’re also working to bring in a local food truck to serve up tasty bites throughout the night.

Street parking may be available, but we highly recommend using Uber or a service like SpotHero, or public transit as parking in the area can be limited.
