Ancient Heroes

Join us for the first Boston concert of the season: Ancient Heroes!

The evening opens with The Vibrant Rhythm of Ancient Heroes, performed by guqin master Shuishan Yu, followed by Paula Robison in Berio’s dazzling Sequenza I for flute. Robison is joined by Krysten Keches and Kim Kashkashian for selections from Carl Nielsen’s “The Mother”, and later partners with Anna Kevelson and Keches for Berlioz’s luminous Trio des Jeunes Ismaëlites from L’enfance du Christ. After intermission, Trio Eris takes the stage with Beethoven’s beloved “Ghost” Trio in D major, Op. 70 No. 1.

Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $40 for adults and $15 for students.

Every dollar donated goes directly to Women’s Lunch Place, supporting women facing hunger and food insecurity.
