🌳 Access the energy of the moon/ month for renewal

Celebrate the energy and joy of Adar at this uplifting Rosh Chodesh Adar women’s circle. A thoughtful women’s gathering to inspire renewal, connection, and inner happiness.

Together, we will explore the unique characteristics of the month of Adar and how to tap into increasing more joy—even when life feels upside down. This Rosh Chodesh Adar women’s circle will offer practical insights on avoiding common pitfalls, invitation for renewal, and navigating challenges with strength and optimism.

A special crafting event to include decorating our own masks as we explore and share ideas what it means to hide behind a mask and to reveal our true selves.

We’ll connect as Jewish women while honoring this special time of lunar renewal. The evening will include meaningful discussion on significant women associated with Adar, as well as a deeper look at Purim—the major holiday of this joyful month and its powerful lessons of courage, hidden miracles, and transformation.

Enjoy light refreshments, hamantaschen tasting, and beverages as we sing soulful songs and chant together, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. Join us for this Rosh Chodesh Adar women’s event and step into the joy, unity, and renewal that define the month of Adar.

Open to all Jewish women — come as you are 💚

About Rosh Chodesh Circle at The Boston Synagogue

Did you know that Rosh Chodesh was given to women as their own special holiday?

Rosh Chodesh signifies the renewal of the moon and the start of a new month. According to tradition, it was a reward to women for their devotion and wisdom during the Exodus and their refusal to participate in the creation of the Golden Calf. Instead, they eagerly contributed their gold and jewelry to help build the Mishkan (Tabernacle)!

Join us to celebrate the new month with meaningful discussions that explore Jewish wisdom, traditions, rituals, and blessings to honor Rosh Chodesh. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect and foster a supportive community— along with snacks and wine!

What to Expect:

  • Thoughtful discussions on Jewish wisdom and traditions
  • Rituals and blessings to honor the new month
  • Opportunities to connect and build a supportive community
  • Snacks and wine

We can't wait to celebrate with you!
