Location: Meet at the ABF office at 587 Palm Canyon Dr. #122 Borrego Springs, CA 92004 (in The Mall next to Kendall’s Café). We’ll then carpool/caravan to Galleta Meadows.

About the Instructor:
Chris Olivas is an award-winning landscape photographer and professional videographer. He was born and raised in San Diego, California. His education and photography have taken him all over the world. He also has been a science educator for over 14 years. He has an extensive background in astronomy and photography and has won numerous awards for his photography work. He loves the combination of science and art that astrophotography entails and loves to spread his passion for the night sky. He specializes in photographing the Milky Way in adventurous locations and sharing his experiences through educational workshops.
