We are running two independent hands-on cheesemaking modules (one for soft and the other for hard cheeses) and you can join us for either one or both modules. You wil lget to make at least 1kg of cheese at the workshop, which you will get to take home with you.
In the morning, from 9am to 12noon you will make soft cheeses - Camembert, Danish Blue and Danish Feta. There will also be a demonstration showing how to make Ricotta in a few minutes.
In the afternoon, from 1pm to 4pm you will make hard cheeses - Halloumi, Farmhouse cheddar and Cottge cheese. You will also make your own Mozzarella and learn how make Bocconcini & Burrata from your Mozzarella.
For those doing both modules, we will provide a light lunch of cheese toasties (with a selection of cheeses), tea and coffee.
We will provide a cheese platter with biscuits with tea and coffee for morning & afternoon tea. We wil also fry up some Halloumi for a snack during each module.
The cost is $120 for each workshop and if you do both workshops you get a 10% discount ($216 for both workshops).
