Dust off those crockpots & get ready to vote for your favorite CHILLI & RIGGIES! PS-Open to INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESSES!
Here's how:
Broadway Cafe & Bakery will be hosting a CHILLI COOKOFF from 11am-1pm (or until sold out) on Saturday, November 29, which happens to be SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY! Bring a crockpot of your BEST chili no later than 10:30am. Spicy, Mild, Beef, Chicken, Wild Game, White, Vegetarian, Beanless...give us your BEST! Judges vote will be at 10:45 am and serving will take place at 11am. Then all chilli will be for sale at $5 per serving, and served in to go containers. Take it home or eat it here. Try 1 or try them all! Then vote for your FAVORITE! Served til it's gone!
THEN...hop on over to Hulbert House Taproom and Kitchen for their RIGGIE COOKOFF. All Riggies entries must be submitted by 1:30pm, judging at 1:45pm and then open to purchase from 2pm (or til sold out). Chicken, Shrimp, Sausage, Mushroom, you name it! With olives or without? Spicy? Mild? What's your favorite? Bring us your BEST! Same deal...vote for your favorite. Sample 1 or all! They will be served in to-go cups, too.
PRIZES: 1st Prize for each cook off is $50 CASH
