Serpents in the Garden of Delight with Professor Van Devender

Join us for our first indoor meeting of the fall season on Tuesday, October 7 at the BREMCO (Blue Ridge Energy) Conference Room in Boone.

Our speaker, Professor (ret) Wayne Van Devender, will present “Serpents in the Garden of Delight.” He’ll share fascinating natural history about snakes of our region, their connections to humans, and how these remarkable creatures relate to native plants and habitats. You’ll also learn practical ways we can use this knowledge to better understand and support local ecosystems.
