Join Susie and Morag for an inspiring evening of drumming with hand-held frame drums and Yoga Nidra meditation.
This session we will be connecting with our Earth energy. The frame drum is an excellent way for you to ground yourself and feel fully present in your body.
Frame drums and shakers supplied but you are also welcome to bring your own.
Suitable for beginners and experienced drummers alike.
We will start connecting with some basic rhythms and have some fun with our drums.
After a short break for a hot drink and cake, you will then get the chance to relax as Susie takes you on a journey with a yoga nidra guided meditation (“yogic sleep”). This Yoga Nidra will be themed around the Cold Moon, which will be in the sky the night before our session.
Please make us aware if you have any health conditions that may be affected by drumming. These include pacemakers, defibrillators, stents, first trimester of pregnancy, bipolar disorder, psychosis. Drumming should not be undertaken under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
Susie from Pause & Breathe & Morag from Sound balance Scotland will be the facilitator for the session.
This session will take place on Friday 5th December 7-9pm in The Place to Pause & Breathe, Bonnybridge. It's £30 to come along, with two reduced rate spaces available (£20). Please pick the price that best reflects your circumstances. Hot drinks and snacks will be available - we'll have a break during the evening.
Bring a yoga mat, or you can use ours. I would suggest bringing a blanket for the yoga nidra.
