Artist Statement: As a watercolor artist, my mission is to create vibrant, emotionally rich artwork that brings joy, peace, and serenity to those who experience it. Through the fluidity and unpredictability of watercolor, I celebrate the beauty of nature—its colors, rhythms, and quiet moments. Each brushstroke is a reflection of my deep love for the natural world and a heartfelt invitation for others to pause, feel, and connect. I strive to evoke a sense of wonder and happiness, offering art that nourishes the spirit and brightens the soul.
Artist Bio:
Originally from Michigan and now calling sunny Florida home, I am a lifelong artist with a deep passion for creativity and exploration. Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—I grew up making art alongside my parents, constantly learning and trying new mediums. That curiosity has stayed with me, carrying me through a wide range of artistic experiences over the years.
Today, I focus on watercolor, drawn to its transparent beauty and the endless possibilities it offers. I love layering color, experimenting with textures, and playing with techniques using salt, alcohol, and other creative tools. There’s always something new to discover in watercolor—it keeps me inspired and constantly growing.
I travel across the United States with my husband Pete, our little dog Coco, and our second pup Dex, in our beloved vintage camper, showing my work at art festivals and connecting with people who feel moved by what I create. Whether it’s the joy in a color blend or the calm of a serene landscape, I hope my paintings bring emotion, peace, and a sense of wonder to everyone who sees them.
