Feral Hog Workshop

Feral hogs continue to be a major challenge for landowners across North Texas, causing damage to crops, pastures, fences, and natural resources. This workshop is designed to help producers and landowners better understand feral hog behavior and learn effective, research-based control strategies.

Join Texas A&M AgriLife Extension for a Feral Hog Workshop on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 9:00 am–12:00 pm at the Fannin County Extension Office in Bonham, Texas.

Topics will include:

• Feral hog biology and behavior
• How to recognize signs of feral hog activity
• Control methods and management strategies
• Trap design and setup, including a live demonstration with Pig Brig traps

Important information:
Attendance at this workshop is mandatory for anyone planning to rent Pig Brig traps through the Extension office.

• Registration fee: $15 per person
• CEUs: 3 CEUs available for Pesticide Applicators
• Location: 2505 N. Center St., Bonham, TX
