This is not a workshop.
It’s a shared creative space.
On Saturday 7 February, I’m holding a relaxed, open Creative Community Craft Circle at the Bongaree Meeting Place a drop in afternoon centred around communal making, sharing resources, and creating side by side.
If you’ve ever been curious about The Held Space experiences but weren’t sure where to start, this is a beautiful, low pressure way to step in.
Less structure. More community. Just making together.
The room will be set with shared materials gathered over time foraged and collected elements, natural fibres, botanicals, ribbons, beads, clay, tools, and textures all intentionally communal to encourage contribution, exchange, and connection.
There’s no step-by-step process and no expected outcome.
You arrive, choose what draws you in, and create at your own pace, alongside others doing the same.
This space is about:
• making something real with your hands
• slowing down and experimenting
• creating without comparison or perfection
• putting the community back into creative gatherings
You’re warmly encouraged to bring along something personal to work with an old mirror, picture frame, log, bottle, teapot, or any found object you’d like to give new life to. These shared and personal pieces often spark conversation and inspiration around the table.
12:00–4:00 pm (drop in anytime)
Bongaree Meeting Place, Bribie Island
$44.00
Come for an hour or stay the afternoon.
No pressure to arrive on time. No rush to finish.
Just creating together.
