Celebrate the pumpkin harvest with the Fall-O-Ween Fest!
Starting in mid-September, our Fall-O-Ween Fest runs during weekends in September. It is the start of the pumpkin harvest - Prairie Gardens is the furthest north blue pumpkin farm in the world!
With over 15 acres of pumpkins planted - of all shape, colour and size imaginable, and wide open spaces - this is a fun and safe family activity! Hayrides, corn maze, scarecrow making, potato digging and pumpkin patch visits are all part of the fun. While at the farm, you can also visit the farm animals, race through a bale maze, catch the end of the sunflower season in our sunflower daze, hunt for treasure at the Lost Lemon Gem Mine, or get competitive with some good ol' fashioned farm fun at the Pumpkin Corn-i-val with pumpkin bowling, pumpkin ring toss, bale jumps and more!
Fall-O-Ween Dates 2025: September 20th-21st & 27th-28th
The farm is also open on Fridays and weekday afternoons - small corn maze, bale mazes, sunflower maze, train rides, heritage chicken viewing, gem mining, etc (weekday admission rates). We are open daily for pumpkin sales - call ahead to check (780-921-2272) availability. Pumpkins can be ready as early as the last week of August or as late as late September, depending on the growing season. On weekdays, please plan your visit for later in the day from noon - 6pm.
Planning Notes: School Field Trips come to Prairie Gardens weekday mornings. Please do not plan to come to visit us on a Weekday Morning (Monday thru Thursday), as we are offering pre-registered guided school field trips from 9am - 12pm. On Fridays and weekends, we are open to the public all day.
