Join us at The Hive at Moss Bank Park for a unique and gentle Bonfire Night experience designed especially for younger children and families.
Unlike traditional Bonfire Night events, there will be no fireworks or loud rides, making this evening perfect for little ones attending their first bonfire celebration, and for children and adults with sensory sensitivities.
Enjoy hot chocolate for every child on arrival in the cafe with a sand animal gift.
Make your way to the Hive where we will have Wild Play and Sensory Areas, magic shows, balloon animals, unlimited marshmallow toasting and a gentle, eco-friendly bonfire.
Our café will serve classic bonfire favourites with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available.
With the Wild Play & Sensory areas open, we recommend wellies, waterproofs, hats, and gloves for little ones to help them stay dry and comfortable. If you haven’t visited The Hive before, please note, it’s a creative outdoor play space designed to spark imagination. The area features natural planting, upcycled displays, water play, and sensory elements like sound zones, creative play, bug hunting and mud areas – so it’s a great place for adventurous children who love to explore!
This is an outdoor event, so please come prepared for the weather, bring wellies for play and note that pram storage will be available at the entrance, if you plan to use it, please bring a waterproof cover to keep your pram dry.
