Presentation Trip To Horwich

A day trip to the Horwich area including presentation of Chorlton Beer Festival's Beer Of The Festival Award to Bank Top Brewery at their Horwich pub The Ale House.

Followed by visiting other pubs in Horwich:

Meet 11.20 at Manchester Piccadilly to catch the 11.33 to Bolton (final desitination Blackpool North).
On arrival in Bolton, we have 15 minutes until the 12.10 125 Gold bus to Horwich which drops outside The Ale House.

Presentation to Bank Top from 1pm.

To return to Manchester from north end of Horwich is a 25 minute walk or 3 minute bus ride (575 to WIgan) to Blackrod station with regular trains to Deansgate, Oxford Road and Piccadilly.

If planning to return from Blackrod, may be best to get a return from Piccadilly to Blackrod even though getting off at Bolton on ourward leg.
