Drop The Floor / Eskrigg

Our next concert is on Fri 20th February and features popular local band Drop The Floor playing their 4th Concert for us. They describe their act as "Irish Traditional Music from three Lancashire lads and a Scotsman. Love a fast jig and a good pint". With a line up consisting of fiddle, uilleann pipes / whistle, tenor banjo and guitar / vocals they always bring great energy and a feel-good atmosphere as they fill our hall with wonderfull vibrant music.

Support somes from Eskrigg, a lakeland trio making their Barlow debut. Dan, Sam and Anj sing traditional (and modern) folk songs in three part harmony.

Doors open from 7:30pm. Tickets are £12.50, available in advance from our website www.folkatthebarlow.com or by emailing Zm9sa2F0dGhlYmFybG93IHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20=. Tickets will also be available at the venue on the night. Students will be charged half-price and accompanied under-16s will be admitted for free. The Reading Room bar will be open and make-your-own tea & coffee is available for a small contribution.
