TALKING DATA. Methodological and theoretical challenges raised by spoken interaction data

How can we analyze spoken language in all its diversity? What challenges do spontaneous interactions pose to linguistic theory and methodology?

TALKING DATA brings together scholars working on spoken corpora, interactional data, and linguistic diversity. The event will explore the tools, categories, and frameworks needed to collect, transcribe, annotate, and interpret real-life spoken interactions across languages and contexts.

Organized within the framework of the DiverSIta project, this conference opens a space for critical discussion on how we document and understand the complexities of spoken linguistic interaction.
