True North Flow Posture Lab 6-week Series

Whether you're new to True North Flow (TNF), a regular practitioner, or navigating your practice after a physical change, this alignment-focused series is designed to deepen your understanding of the foundational poses in our signature heated vinyasa class.
Co-led by Heather Bembry (300RYT) and Lexie Merz (300RYT), this six-week alignment lab blends anatomical clarity, energetic alignment, and step-by-step guidance. You’ll explore each family of poses in the True North Flow sequence—building skill, confidence, and embodied understanding.
Each week will focus on a core arc of the True North Flow:
🌀 Week 1: Sun Salutations — breath, rhythm & foundational form
🌀 Week 2: Standing Poses — grounding through the legs & spine
🌀 Week 3: Warrior Flow 1 — presence, strength & spatial awareness
🌀 Week 4: Warrior Flow 2 — dynamic balance & breath in motion
🌀 Week 5: Warrior Flow 3 — transitions, fluidity & energetic release
🌀 Week 6: Floor Postures — integration, support & deep release
What students will learn/experience:
Experience the alignment and learn the purpose of each True North Flow pose
Understand common misalignments, why they happen, and how to adjust
Receive guidance on modifications, props, and how to support your unique body
Learn safe and effective transitions, injury prevention, and counterposes
Explore how the poses affect the subtle/energetic body (e.g. chakras, vayus)
Learn the Sanskrit and English names, meanings, and stories behind the shapes
Receive loving support from teachers and students during this community series
Plus, enjoy an unlimited pass at TNY from Sept 4-Oct 9 as part of this series’ tuition.
This series is for you if:

✨ You’re a regular practitioner looking to refine and expand
✨ You’re navigating injury, returning to your mat, or seeking more alignment support

Time: 7:00–8:30PM
Location: In-person at True North Yoga
Format: Lecture about pose, guided self-exploration of pose, and group q&a after pose
Materials: Mats and props provided; bring water and a notebook if you’d like.
Cost: $99, includes an unlimited yoga pass from 9/4-10/9
