Dear Rumi Community,
The next Rumi Night is scheduled for Tuesday December 23 at the Cole & Ustick Public Library, 6 – 7:30 p.m. We are eager to connect with those who can make it.
We’ll enjoy Rumi’s timeless poetry for about an hour and then segue to tea, desserts and conversation for half an hour.
Of course everyone is welcome to bring a Rumi poem to share in English or Persian.
Let’s have this Rumi Night be, in part, to remind one another
of one another. Let’s receive Rumi’s guidance
toward a path where we feel connected and included
in a world we want to engage with.
There is honorable work yet to be done by each of us.
