About this Event

This interactive workshop is designed to build bridges across diverse perspectives. Expect an engaging session filled with self-reflection, hands-on activities, and opportunities to connect with others in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Guided by Shannon, participants will consider their unique origin story, cultural influences, and lived experiences through writing exercises and group discussions.

Participants can expect to:

  • Delve into the roots of their personal narratives to understand how these stories shape interactions with others.
  • Learn practical tools for addressing conflict fatigue and strategies for recharging from burnout.
  • Practice techniques for meaningful dialogue, active listening, and cultivating empathy in everyday interactions.

What to Bring

  • A notebook and writing utensil.
  • A willingness to share and listen with an open mind.
  • Curiosity to explore new perspectives and challenge assumptions.

Attendees may choose from the following tiers of ticket cost:

  • Tier 1: $15: This ticket is a budget-friendly option to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation and is subsidized by Tier 2 and 3 ticket buyers.
  • Tier 2: $25: This reduced priced ticket is for those who can give a little more while still meeting budget goals.
  • Tier 3: $35: Pay it forward! This ticket helps make the workshop more accessible and allows other participants to attend at a reduced cost.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the workshop runs from 5:30-8 p.m. A meal and beverage will be provided to attendees.
