About this EventThis class is AWESOME! Focusing on skills applicable both on and off stage, this class will help you live your best life - and it's concise, organized, full of learning, and fun. Each class covers a distinct topic - some of these skills include building ensemble, giving and taking focus, object work, and, one of the most crucial fundamentals of improv, the concept of “yes, and.” You will walk away a better YOU!
Experience is not necessary, but always welcome. We pride ourselves on offering a level and nurturing playing field. Improv Classes with CSz Boise are a fun, supportive way to learn improvisational thinking, gain self-confidence, develop crucial soft skills, and meet new people.
8 classes • Two hours once a week • Followed by a student showcase.*
- WHO: Adults Ages 18+
- WHEN: Monday 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Jan 26 - Mar 30 (No class Mar 16)
- WHERE: The Green Room - 5420 W. Franklin, Boise
- SHOWCASE*: Monday 7:30 pm, Mar 30 (students should still arrive at 7:00, doors for audience will open at 7:15 PM) Every students gets 2 tickets to the showcase for friends or family. Additional tickets will be $5 (and fees) online / $7 at the door.

*As we recognize that people take improv classes for a vast variety of reasons - including overcoming anxiety - the Student Showcase is optional, but highly recommended.

- Classes may be canceled if minimum enrollment requirements are not met.
- No refunds will be issued after the first day of class. Refunds requested prior to the first day are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Full refunds are only issued if the class is canceled.
- We reserve the right to cancel a student's registration if payment is not completed by the due date or if they have a history of not fulfilling payment agreements.
- Observation: Many students are more focused and engaged without loved ones present. However, if you or your student would feel more comfortable having you there on the first day, you are welcome to stay for the first 20 minutes—just be prepared to participate! If needed, we can also arrange a tour of the building or provide an opportunity to meet their teacher before the class begins. Just reach out and ask at the time of enrollment!
- Participation/Discipline: Our goal is to make classes rewarding and fun for everyone. If a student becomes disruptive or refuses to participate in an activity, we will ask them to step aside until they are ready to rejoin. If the behavior continues, we will contact parents or caregivers to address the issue. Please note that no refunds will be given to students asked to leave the program due to behavioral concerns.
