Bundle Up Boise 2025

5th Annual Community Chili Feed & Coat Drive/Exchange -- The weather is changing and it is time to bundle up! If you have coats, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, etc that you don't need but still have a lot of life left in them, you can donate them to our coat exchange. Maybe you have a kiddo that grows quickly and could use a new one? Come pick one up! (No donation necessary.) Our goal is to help our local community stay warm this winter. The drive behind the drive:
You may be wondering why we do this every year. Yes, Boise gets cold and we like for everyone to stay warm but this began for another reason. October 25th can be a sad day at the Porter house, as we remember Jason Porter (my children's father) and Bradley Schepper (my grandson's father), who both shared a birthday of October 25th and both have graduated from this life. As a family, we decided that instead of this being a sad day, we would like to make it a happy one and do something big to honor them. Thus, Bundle Up Boise was born. We would love to share warmth (and a hug in the form of a warm coat or sweater) with everyone at this time of year.
