Level 1 Bellydance Technique

You will develop grace, fluidity and core strength learning this ancient art form. With a focus on Egyptian-style dance, you will learn basic bellydance technique and combinations.
You'll learn about the rich cultural traditions of the Middle East and North Africa, the birthplace of bellydance.
Come ready to dance in bare feet or dance slippers. Beginners welcome!

Level 2 Bellydance Technique: Alluring Arms and Show-Stopping Shimmies
Thursdays @ 7:30-8:30pm MT
In this technique series, we will:
☑️ Automate your arms to be alluring, fluid and graceful
☑️ Unpack the cultural meanings of arm positions in Egypt
☑️ Create smooth transitions between arm poses and arm pathways
☑️ Strengthen your shimmies to show-stopping heights
☑️ Expand your shimmy repertoire with the Egyptian knee shimmy, 3/4 shimmies, articulated shimmy, and more!
☑️ Add texture and complexity by layering your shimmies onto other moves
