Theme: Answering the Call - Faithful Modern Men in the New Testament Church
Brief: The challenges facing the church and those who intend to be faithful men are tremendous. Accordingly, the 2025 Men’s Day seeks to encourage and edify men in specific areas:
Growing Leadership - developing the knowledge, wisdom and desire to serve in the leadership roles as defined by God’s Word. The goal is to encourage men in both the instruction of the Bible and the work it takes to grow into the roles reserved for men - especially deacons and elders - and those roles expected of a faithful Christian - teacher, example and encourager.
Growing in Service - while we discuss a “servant’s heart,” how does God define that and how do we develop it. How do we recognize it and what does that attitude require of us in terms of growth, actions and maintenance?
Growing in Attitude - the world around us presents so many ungodly attitudes that we are expected to embrace. What are the Godly attitudes that will define and preserve a righteous life? What is the role of a faithful man in finding and exemplifying these attitudes? And, what are the challenges to having the right attitude?
Growing in Focus - As we consider leadership, service and attitude, how do refine and strengthen our focus on the lives that God would have us live? What should others be able to see in us that demonstrate this focus without making a prideful show?
