Come and enjoy a lovely day of sewing and make your very own Popover Pinnyfore — a wonderfully versatile garment that’s as practical as it is stylish.
So called because it simply pops over your head, this clever design can be worn:
✨ open at the sides as a traditional pinny
✨ or closed at the sides as a classic pinafore
Perfect for layering and everyday wear.
This is a beginner-friendly workshop, ideal if you’re new to dressmaking or would like to build confidence working with woven fabrics. Allison will guide you gently through cutting your fabric and constructing your pinnyfore step by step, with plenty of individual help along the way.

A relaxed, friendly sewing-circle atmosphere in my upstairs studio
🪡 Fabric notes:
A stable woven fabric works best – cotton, poplin, chambray, lawn or lightweight denim are all ideal. (Viscose can be used with interfacing.) Full fabric requirements and sizing details are available on the booking page.
