Halloween at Bodmin Jail 1st-31st October

Here is just a glimpse of what’s on this October at Bodmin Jail.

As part of self-guided entry the Haunted Gallery returns and this year there is even more to uncover. Explore the history of hauntings at the jail and across the globe discover the spirits of the jail with ghostly figures around the museum and take part in challenges photoshoots and activity trails. All this and much more awaits.

Our Go Darker Tour also returns for October replacing our standard heritage tours. This guided experience will take you deeper into the darker side of history crime and punishment.

From 17 October our Halloween Trick-or-Treat Activity Trail begins. Perfect for families and small ghostbusters this trail will lead you through the mystery of the jail. Complete your activity sheet and claim a free reward from the gift shop at the end.

Also launching on 17 October as part of self-guided entry is our brand-new Paranormal Audio Trail app. Bring your own headphones and download the trail to immerse yourself in the paranormal history and infamous spirits of Bodmin Jail.

We are running even more Ghost Walks during half term. From Tuesday through to Saturday explore Bodmin Jail under the cover of darkness led by candlelight. From spirits of the jail to Cornwall’s most infamous tales this is the ultimate Halloween tour.

For those brave enough explore the jail After Dark with our unique Paranormal Investigations. Armed with ghost-hunting tools and under the guidance of our expert paranormal wardens you will investigate England’s most haunted jail in search of spirits that may still remain.

Our annual Halloween Fireworks also return this year bigger and better than ever. Expect entertainment thrills and activities throughout the attraction. Tickets release this Friday.
