This is going to be a night worth travelling to get to! we are so pleased to welcome David Fenner to the club.
David is a fine singer, musician, arranger and award-winning songwriter with a vast repertoire of great songs and stories. Based in Berkshire, although a Kentish man, he is a true travelling troubadour. He plays guitar, bouzouki, tenor guitar and ukulele.
David’s musical influences range from Steeleye Span to Steely Dan! Whether singing a tender folk love song or an acoustic cover of a classic rock song, David makes each song his own.
Before emerging as a solo artist, he was in the trio Reunion Lane, their 2019 album “We Tell Stories” is a wonderful collection of original and contemporary songs, each of which has a story at its heart. He was also in the quartet, Commonground playing UK festivals and touring Canada.
Prepare to sing, be made to laugh or cry, but certainly to be entertained!
The club meets in an upstairs room but there is a stairlift if needed. BYO alcohol as there is no bar but we do a great line in tea and biscuits.
