As we step into 2026, now is the time to turn intention into action. In today’s world, personal and community safety are essential. Self-defense is not about fear—it’s about preparedness, confidence, and standing strong together.
✡️ JEWISH COMMUNITY SELF-DEFENSE BASICS ✡️
This training event is presented in partnership with the Heroes for Israel Project’s Chai Defense Club and Frontline Krav Maga. Instruction will be led by OG Krav Maga instructor Rick Seid, whose decades of real-world experience bring authentic, proven Israeli self-defense techniques to the community.
Krav Maga is a practical, aggressive Israeli self-defense system developed for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). It focuses on instinctive movements, real-world threats, and rapid neutralization of attacks by targeting vulnerable areas. Drawing from boxing, judo, and Muay Thai, Krav Maga emphasizes situational awareness, de-escalation when possible, and decisive action when necessary—making it effective and accessible for all ages and fitness levels.
Together with our community partners, the Heroes for Israel Project’s Chai Defense Club is committed to hosting ongoing self-defense and safety events covering:• Situational awareness• Martial arts fundamentals• Home security• Firearm safety education
These trainings are designed to build confidence, readiness, and community resilience.
More than techniques, this session emphasizes mindset, awareness, and mutual responsibility. When we train together, we protect ourselves—and each other.
